LanoEster is a fatty ester synthesized from natural lanolin fatty acids. It is a novel renewable, bio-degradable green raw material for various industrial applications. The product is non-toxic, stable,  soluble in most hydrocarbon solvents, and miscible with most paraffin / microcrystalline waxes. LanoEster's application area ranges from lubricants, metal working fluids, rust preventives, plastic plasticizer, to mould releasing agent, and etc. Since the molecule is highly sterically hindered by long carbon chain, it is more thermally stable, and hence suitable for high temperature applications such as engine lubricants. LanoEster's unique chemical structure derived from lanolin fatty acids makes it adhere strongly to metal surfaces, and possesses highly emulsifying and highly waterproofing properties.
